Connect Slack to receive Room activity notifications where your team already works. Send notifications to the Aligned app in Slack for personal alerts, or route them to a dedicated Slack channel for shared visibility. Manage notification delivery at the Room level when one Room needs a different setup, or from Slack settings when you want to update your general integration preferences.

Plan: Free, Basic, Pro, Enterprise
Permissions: Any user can connect Slack for their own account.
Technical Specs:
You need an active Slack account.
Slack is a per-user integration. Changes affect only the connected user.
Open Integrations on desktop. The Integrations tab does not appear on mobile.
How to connect Slack
Go to My Account → Settings → Integrations -> My integrations.
Find Slack.
Click Connect.
Approve Slack access.
Choose at least one notification destination:
Aligned app in Slack for personal notifications.
A dedicated Slack channel for team visibility.
How to send notifications to the Aligned app in Slack
Connect Slack.
In the setup flow, turn ON the personal notifications in the Aligned app.
Click Save.
Use this option when you want Room activity alerts visible only to you.
How to send notifications to a Slack channel
Connect Slack.
In the setup flow, turn ON the Channel Notifications.
Select the specific channel where you want Room notifications to appear.
Click Save.
Use this option when you want buyer journey insights visible to everyone in that channel.
How to manage Slack notification settings for a specific Room
Open the Room.
Click the gear icon next to the Room title -> Notifications.
Choose which notifications go to Slack.
No need to click save.
The Room owner manages Room-level notification rules. Admins can control Room notifications except for Slack notifications.
How to manage Slack settings from Integrations
Go to My Account → Settings → Integrations.
Open Slack Settings.
Click Manage Notification Settings.
Use this when you want to review or update your Slack integration preferences outside a specific Room.
Troubleshooting & Error States
Q: I connected Slack, but I don’t get any notifications.
Answer: Open Slack Settings or the Room’s Notifications settings and confirm that Slack delivery is enabled for the notification types you want.
Q: My Room notifications went to the wrong Slack channel.
Answer: Open My Account → Settings → Integrations → My integrations → Slack Settings, then select the correct channel.
Q: I can’t find Integrations on mobile.
Answer: Open Aligned on desktop. The Integrations tab does not appear on mobile.
Q: My admin changed Room notification settings, but Slack still doesn’t work for me.
Answer: Admin cannot change your own room settings, Connect Slack for your own account. Slack is a per-user integration.
Security & Operations
Slack is a user-level integration, not an account-level integration. Each user must connect Slack separately.
Account-level notification defaults live under My Notifications, but Room-specific behavior is controlled in each Room’s Notifications settings.
