Updating Permissions - Gong Integration

1. Why do we need your permission?

This update ensures that:

Aligned Activities are Visible in Gong: Activities like entering a room, viewing a file, or commenting can now appear in your Gong's timeline to provide a complete view of engagement.
Improved Data Synchronization: By updating permissions, we can synchronize data more effectively, ensuring seamless workflows across Gong, CRM, and Aligned.

We are requesting the following:

Embed Gong Videos into Aligned Rooms: Allows you to display relevant Gong call recordings directly in your Aligned rooms.
Send Aligned Activities to Gong: Activities such as file views, task completion, or comments will be shared with Gong for visibility in the timeline.

These permissions allow us to synchronize your activities in Gong and display them contextually for enhanced collaboration and decision-making.

Updating your permissions is a simple process. Follow these steps:

Log into Aligned.
1. There is a banner at the top center of the screen.
Click the "Update" button on the banner.
Review Permissions:
1. Approve the permissions required for the integration.
Once updated, your integration will sync with Gong within 15 minutes.

Why do I need to update permissions? Updating permissions ensures that Aligned and Gong work seamlessly together, providing better visibility into sales activities and improving workflow efficiency.
Can I choose which activities to send to Gong? At this time, all supported activities will be sent to Gong if permissions are granted.
What happens if I don't update permissions? Without updated permissions, you will not be able to use the enhanced integration features, and some functionalities may be limited.
Are there privacy concerns? Aligned and Gong comply with all applicable data protection regulations. Permissions are limited to the data required for the integration.
Will previously synced data remain visible in Gong if the integration is not granted? Yes, any data that was previously synced will remain visible in Gong. However, new activities will only sync if the integration is granted.
