The Aligned and Slack integration enables users to receive notifications about their room activities, enhancing visibility by delivering notifications either to a designated Slack channel or directly within the Aligned app on Slack.
Prerequisites
The user integrating must have an active Slack account.
Integration Scope
The integration is conducted on a per-user basis.
Availability
The Aligned and Slack integration is available across all of Aligned's pricing plans.
Integration Setup
To enable the Slack integration:
Navigate to My Account > Settings > Integrations.
Click on Connect next to the Slack integration.
3. Grant access and choose to receive personal notifications (visible only to you) through the Aligned app within Slack, or opt to send the notifications to a dedicated Slack channel (visible to all channel team members).
4. In order to direct your room's notifications to a specific Slack channel, please select the particular channel where you would like to send your notifications:
1. Get Personal Notifications in Aligned App
By choosing to receive your room's notifications via the Aligned app within Slack, you can conveniently receive them directly and personally.
2. Send buyer journey insights to a dedicated Slack Channel
Directing your notifications to a Slack channel allows you to effortlessly share client journey insights & analytics with all channel members, thereby enhancing visibility for both you and them.
Manage Your Notification Preferences
Click on the gear icon next to the title of the relevant room.
Under Notifications, you will be able to choose the type of notifications to send to either Slack channels or the Aligned app.
Alternatively, you can navigate to My Account > Settings > Integrations > Slack Settings and click on “Manage Notification Settings”.
