With the Zapier integration for Aligned, you can connect your workspace to thousands of other SaaS tools - including CRMs, Slack, Google Sheets, email platforms, and more - using no-code automation. Zapier lets you build Zaps that automatically trigger downstream actions based on buyer activity in your Aligned Rooms.

Plans: This feature is only accessible in the Pro and Enterprise Plans.

Permissions: Only Admins and up can connect Zapier to Aligned.

Alternative Ways to Connect Zapier

You can connect Zapier to Aligned from either platform - directly from Aligned, or while setting up a Zap in Zapier.

  • If you start from Aligned:

    • Log in to your Aligned account.

    • Go to the Integrations page.

    • Click Connect under Zapier.

    • Authorize access via Zapier’s.

    • Once connected, you can start building Zaps in Zapier.

  • If you start from Zapier:

    • If you're not signed in to Aligned, you’ll first be asked to log in. Once signed in, you’ll be prompted to approve the integration.

    • If you're already signed in to Aligned, you'll go straight to the approval screen.

Once approved, the connection is completed automatically - just as if you had connected it from Aligned directly.

What You Can Automate

Zapier uses Triggers and Actions to create automated workflows.

Available Triggers in Aligned:

  • Room Created → e.g. Auto-create a CRM deal or send internal alerts.

  • Room Visited → e.g. Log buyer engagement in CRM.

  • File Downloaded → e.g. Notify reps or update deal stages.

  • File Uploaded → e.g. Notify teams or log content uploads.

  • Task Completed → e.g. Update deal progress or trigger follow-ups.

  • Task Assigned → e.g. Notify users or sync tasks with external tools.

Available Actions in Aligned:

  • Create Room from Template → e.g. Auto-spin up a Room when a deal stage changes in your CRM.

Example Zaps:

  • When a room is visited → Send a Slack message.

  • When a file is downloaded → Add a note to CRM.

  • When a deal is marked "Closed Won" → Auto-create a post-sale Room from a template.

  • When a file is uploaded → Notify the sales team in Slack.

  • When a task is completed → Update the deal stage in the CRM.

  • When a task is assigned → Send an email or Slack notification to the assignee.

Note: Zapier only triggers on new events - historical actions are not captured retroactively.

Disconnecting the Integration

To disconnect Zapier from your Aligned account:

  1. Go to Integrations in your account settings.

  2. Locate Zapier and click Disconnect.

  3. You may also remove access directly from your Zapier App Connections.

Known Limitations

  • Each Zap only works for new or updated data - it won’t run on past events.

  • Some triggers may use polling (instead of instant webhooks) depending on Zapier’s limitations.

  • Account Downgrades: If your plan drops below Pro, your Zapier integration will be disabled.

Note: Connecting the same tool (e.g. Slack) in both Aligned and Zapier may cause duplicate actions - make sure to manage one connection path to avoid conflicts.
