Preview Mode: See what your customer will see

Use Preview before you share a Room so you can check the buyer experience from the customer side. Preview helps you confirm the layout, content order, branding, and access flow before a prospect or customer opens the Room. If something looks wrong, switch back to Edit mode, fix it, and preview again. This is the fastest way to catch missing content, broken embeds, or buyer-facing issues before you send the Room.

Prerequisites & Requirements

  • Plans: All plans.

  • Permissions: Any user with edit access to the Room.

  • Technical Specs:

    • Preview shows the Room from the customer perspective

    • The Files Sharing section stays visible in preview even when it is empty

    • Buyers can upload files to Files Sharing even when the section starts empty

How to open Preview Mode

  1. Open the Room.

  2. Click Preview at the top-center of the Room.

  3. Review the Room as a customer would see it.

What the Buyer sees

  • The buyer sees the Room from the shared, customer-facing view.

  • The buyer sees the content, sections, and layout you chose for the Room.

How to go back to Edit Mode

  1. While you are in Preview, click Edit mode (Top-center).

  2. Make the changes you need.

  3. Click Preview again to check the updated Room.

What to check in Preview before you share

Use Preview to confirm these buyer-facing details:

  1. Check the company name, logo, and banner.

  2. Check that your sections appear in the right order.

  3. Check that links, videos, and embedded content open correctly.

  4. Check the permission flow for the Room if you use stricter access settings.

  5. Check that Files Sharing appears the way you expect.

Important: The Files Sharing section stays visible in preview even when no files are uploaded yet, and buyers can still upload files into it.

Troubleshooting & Error States

Q: I clicked Preview, but I still need to change the Room.

Answer: Click Edit mode, update the Room, then open Preview again.

Q: My embedded content does not load correctly in Preview.

Answer: Fix the source link or sharing settings for that item, save the change, then preview the Room again.

Q: Why should I use Preview before sharing?

Answer: Use Preview to catch buyer-facing issues before the customer sees the Room.

Pro-Tips

  • Always preview the Room after you update branding, reorder sections, or add new content.

  • Preview the Room before every major share or update so the customer sees the cleanest version first.
