Your Aligned account is connected to your CRM. You can now link individual deal Rooms to CRM records (Opportunities, Accounts, etc.) to sync data and activate AI-powered deal insights on those Rooms.
What you get when you connect a Room to CRM
Bi-directional CRM field sync — pull data from your CRM into the Room dashboard and drawer; push updates back from Aligned into your CRM.
Buyer engagement on the CRM record — Room visits, section interactions, and activity flow into your CRM object so reps and managers see deal health in one place.
AI Highlights & AI Insights — surfaces buying signals, stalling deals, and recommended actions based on buyer engagement and CRM context. Requires a Salesforce or HubSpot connection; not available on Microsoft Dynamics accounts.
Closed-Won deal indicators — Rooms automatically reflect deal status from your CRM.
Who can connect a Room to CRM
Role | Capability |
Room Owner | Can link and unlink their own Rooms to CRM objects. |
Aligned Admin | Can link and unlink Rooms across the account. |
Room Member (with edit access) | Cannot link or unlink a Room. Ask the Room owner or an Aligned Admin. |
How many Rooms can I connect to CRM?
The number of CRM-connected Rooms included with your plan is on the Aligned pricing page. The limit is per user - every team member gets their own quota. Disconnecting or deleting a CRM-connected Room frees up a slot for a new connection which can take its place.
How to connect a Room to CRM
You can connect a Room to CRM in four ways, depending on how you're working.
Option 1 — From an existing Room
Open the Room.
Click the CRM icon at the top of the Room
Alternatively → go to Room Settings → Integrations.
Search for the Opportunity, Account, or other CRM object you want to link.
Click Connect. CRM features activate immediately.
Option 2 — While creating a new Room from scratch
Click + New Room.
Enter the company name.
In the Search CRM field, look up the CRM object.
Select it → continue with Room creation. The Room is connected on creation.
Note: If your admin has set CRM linking as optional → You always skip the CRM step and link the Room later from inside it.
Option 3 — From a template
Click + New Room → choose a template from the gallery.
The same Room setup flow appears, including the Search CRM field.
Select the CRM object → continue. The template content loads pre-linked to your CRM record.
Option 4 — From AI Deal Builder
Open AI Deal Builder and describe the Room you want to build.
When prompted (or via your prompt), specify the CRM object you'd like to link — for example: "Build a Room for the Acme Corp opportunity in Salesforce."
AI Deal Builder creates the Room and links it to the matching CRM record automatically.
Disconnecting a Room from CRM
Open the Room → Room Settings → Integrations.
Click Disconnect next to the linked CRM object.
CRM features stop syncing on that Room. Data on the CRM side is unaffected.
What if I've reached my CRM Room limit?
If you've connected the maximum number of Rooms included in your plan and try to connect another, you'll see an upgrade prompt. You have two options:
Free up a slot — disconnect one of your currently-connected Rooms (see above), then connect the new one.
Upgrade your plan — see the Aligned pricing page for what each plan includes, or click Contact Sales in the upgrade modal.
