AI Center

Written by Joice

Every AI capability in Aligned, in one place

Aligned's AI runs across the whole deal - from building Rooms, to summarizing pipeline, flagging risk and even answering your clients' questions.

The AI Center puts all AI capabilities in a single place, so it can be reviewed and managed with ease: what each AI do, whether they’re active, and what they needs from you to work.

What can be done via the AI Center

For each AI capability in aligned, the AI center allows to:

  • General classification (internal/external) and what it does

  • Its current state — active, blocked

  • In case it isn’t active - What’s required to activate it, with a direct path to fix it

Configuration of each AI capability still lives inside each agent. The AI Center helps you get there.

Where to find it

From the rooms dashboard reach to Admin center → AI Center.

You can also reach it from the MCP page, and from your personal AI settings.

Who can use it

The AI Center is available on every plan.

Individual agents inside it may have their own requirements:

  • A CRM connection (Salesforce or HubSpot) for AI Insights & Actions and AI Highlights

When an agent has a requirement you haven't met, the card tells you which one, and links you straight to it.

Permissions

  • Admins only.

Internal vs. External

The AI Center has two tabs - Seller-side and client-side. Nothing you write into one is visible to the other.

  • Internal (seller-side) — Private to your company. Your clients will never see or get access to these agents.

  • External (Client side) — Client-facing. Your clients can see and interact with these agents.

This matters most when you're writing prompts or adding context. Anything you add on the Internal tab stays with your team. Anything you add on the External tab shapes what your clients see.

What's in the AI Center

Internal tab

  • Seller Agent — Your own AI agent, designed to help updates deal rooms easily by describing what you want done (builds pricing tables and calculators, drafts Next Steps). It can also assist analyzing the deal’s state and provide insights.

  • AI Insights & Actions — Reads your Rooms and CRM updates to flag which deals are slipping and where you can push forward. Requires a CRM connection to activate.

  • AI Highlights — Never open a deal cold again. Every deal, summarized before you walk in. Requires a CRM connection.

  • AI Deal Builder — Describe the deal, get a Room ready to send.

Each card shows one state at a time, so you always know the single next thing to do:

  • Active — the agent is on and running

  • Connect CRM — The agent requires an action before it can run. Press the button to reach the relevant path and complete the action.

  • Aligned MCP — Use everything Aligned can do inside Claude, ChatGPT, Glean, and others. While the MCP page resides outside the AI center, users can reach it from the AI center as well.

External tab

  • Client Agent — help answer clients' questions from the room content and company knowledge, so they're never stuck waiting. It answers only from the Room and the knowledge the user chooses to share. Internal team knowledge stays internal.

  • Personal settings: A link to the personal AI settings, where control of the Client Agent across each user’s rooms can be reached by pressing “My AI settings”.

Turning the Client Agent on/off

The Client Agent toggle sits on the External tab.

  • The Client agent is ON by default.

  • Turning it off asks you to confirm first, because it affects every client in every Room. You'll see: "This will turn off Client Agent for all clients across every Room. Continue?"

FAQs

Why is AI Insights & Actions asking me to connect a CRM?

It reads CRM signals alongside Room activity, so it needs Salesforce or HubSpot connected at the account level. It isn't available on Microsoft Dynamics accounts.

Two admins changed a setting at the same time. Which one applies?

The most recent change wins.

Does the AI Center work on mobile?

No, It's built for desktop. It's readable on a phone, but configure your agents from a computer.
