The Library supports a full search that runs across both Company Library and My Library at once. Search runs when you press Enter or click Search. Results appear as a flat list with a Location column that shows which Library each result came from (Company Library folder path, or My Library). Inside the results, Filters let you refine further without re-running the query.
Prerequisites
Plan: Available on all plans.
Role: Any user can search Library content they have access to.
How to run a search
Click the Search bar at the top of the Library.
(Optional) Open Advanced Search and choose one value for File name, Folder name, Label, Content type, Owner, or User Groups.
Type your query.
Press Enter or click Search.
Results appear as a flat list showing files and folders from both Company Library and My Library together. Each result shows its Location - for Company Library results, the Team Folder path - for My Library results, My Library (or the My Folder name). Admins also see an Access column (Everyone, specific User Groups, or Only me for My Library results).
Clicking a result navigates to that file's location and exits search mode.
How to filter search results
Filters are available only inside search results.
Run a search.
In the search results view, open Filters.
Apply one value for any of: Content Label, Content type, Owner, User Groups.
Multiple filter types can be applied at the same time.
To clear filters, click Clear all filters or remove each filter individually.
Filters apply on top of the current search results. Changing filters does not re-run the search.
How Labels work with search
Labels live in a dedicated Labels section in the sidebar and can be used independently of search.
Selecting a Label limits the view to files that carry that Label.
Labels can be combined with search - running a search while a Label is selected searches within that Label.
Inside search results, Labels are also available as a filter.
Search scope
Search runs across both Company Library and My Library at once, not just the current root or folder.
Results include only content you have access to.
Use the Location column to see which Library each result came from.
Archived content does not appear in Company Library search results. My Library does not have an Archive, so all My Library content is searchable.
Leaving search
Selecting a folder from the sidebar exits search mode and clears the search.
Any navigation action exits search mode.
All active filters are cleared when leaving search mode.
Limitations
Filters are available only inside search results, not in the default Library view.
Archived content is not returned in search results.
FAQ
Q: Why does search not update as I type?
Live search is not supported. Press Enter or click Search to run the search. This keeps results consistent while you refine your query.
Q: Can I search across both Company Library and My Library at once?
Yes. Search runs across both Libraries at the same time. The Location column in the results shows which Library each file came from, so you can tell a Company Library result from a My Library result at a glance.
Q: What's the difference between selecting a Label in the sidebar and filtering by Label inside search?
Selecting a Label in the sidebar filters the default Library view. Filtering by Label inside search results refines an active search query. Both filters are the same.
