Control which tabs buyers see, how to save your setup for reuse, and simple ways to keep tabs tidy over the life of a deal.
What tabs are
Tabs sit at the top of a Room and group related sections, like Overview, Plan, Security, or Legal. They help buyers find what they need fast.
Hide or show a tab
Open the Room
Hover over the tab name
Open the tab menu(Three dot) and choose Hide tab
To make it visible again, open the same menu and choose Show to buyers
Notes
• Hiding a tab only affects buyers. Teammates with access still see it so you can prepare content in the background
• Links you already shared to hidden content will not be accessible to buyers until the tab is shown
Reorder tabs
Hover over a tab until you see the drag handle
Drag and drop to change the order
Put the most important tab first so buyers land on it
Rename a tab
Click the tab name to rename
Use short, clear names buyers will recognize, for example Security instead of Trust and Safety
Delete a tab
Open the tab menu
Choose Delete to remove the tab and all sections inside it
Tip: If you only need to remove a tab for buyers temporarily, prefer Hide from buyers instead of Delete
Who can edit tabs
• Room owners and internal room collaborators can add, hide, reorder, rename, duplicate, and delete tabs
• Buyers can only view tabs you show to them
Best practices
• Keep it simple. Aim for 3 to 6 tabs. Too many can feel like a maze
• Name tabs by buyer intent. Examples: Overview, Plan, Security, Legal, Pricing
• Stage content privately. Hide a tab while you work, then show it when it is ready
• Reuse structure. Save common layouts as templates and standardize across the team
• Lead with value. Make Overview or Plan the first tab so buyers see next steps immediately
Troubleshooting
Buyers say they cannot find a tab
• Check if the tab is hidden. Show it to buyers when it is ready
A tab is cluttered
• Split the content into two tabs or move long lists into subsections
I deleted a tab by mistake
• If you have a template, re-add the tab from template and paste the missing content back in
• Otherwise recreate the tab, then consider saving the structure as a template for next time
