Room Grouping: Organize and filter Rooms from the dashboard

Written by Joice
Updated this week

Use Room Grouping to star key Rooms, run bulk actions, and control how the Rooms dashboard sorts and filters your list. Keep the list readable with sticky group/column headers and a collapsible Templates area. For Pro and Enterprise workspaces, add Subgroup filtering and Team Columns so your team applies the same labels across Rooms. Keep favorites private per user while you standardize shared columns at the account level.

Prerequisites & Requirements

  • Plan:

    • Core Room Grouping (favorites, multi-select, sorting, sticky headers, minimize templates): All plans

    • Subgroup filtering and Team Columns: Pro and Enterprise only

  • Permissions:

    • Bulk actions: Room owners, Admin and up (for archive/delete)

    • Create/edit/delete Team Columns: Admin only

  • Technical Specs:

    • Mobile support includes limitations (for example, no favorite toggle / hover behavior)

How to star Rooms (Favorites)

  1. Go to the Rooms table (Main dashboard).

  2. Click the Star icon next to a Room to mark it as a favorite.

  3. Use the Starred filter to show only favorites.

    • Text

  4. Save the column.

  5. Use the column to filter and sort Rooms across the account.

Troubleshooting & Error States

Q: Why can’t I star Rooms on mobile or in preview mode?

Answer: Star Rooms from the desktop Rooms dashboard. Favorites don’t work on mobile or in preview mode.

Q: Why can't I use Subgroup filtering?

Answer: Upgrade to Pro or Enterprise, then use the Subgroup dropdown in Rooms.

Q: Why can’t I add or edit Team Columns?

Answer: Ask an Admin to create or update Team Columns. Non-admins see a restriction toast when they try to edit.

Q: Why do I see an upgrade prompt when I try to add a Team Column?

Answer: Upgrade to Pro or Enterprise to use Team Columns.

Pro-Tips

  • Star your top accounts, then toggle Starred during pipeline review so you focus on the Rooms that need action first.

  • Create Team Columns for deal stage and priority so RevOps and sellers filter the same way across the account.
