Changing your Aligned login email is not self-serve. You request the change from support, and it is approved case by case.
Prerequisites & Requirements
Plan: All plans.
Permissions: Any user, for their own account. Some scenarios require confirmation from a workspace Owner or Admin.
Note: If your email is managed by your SSO provider, it may be locked. Contact your admin.
Why it isn't self-serve
For security and data-ownership reasons, changing your login email to a new company domain is generally not allowed. Content and analytics tied to your current account are considered the property of your current employer.
When a change can be approved
We review and may approve an email change in these cases:
Company acquisition or merger: your employer has been acquired and you have been officially migrated to a new company domain.
Company-wide domain update: your organization is changing its primary email domain, for example after a rebrand, with confirmation from a workspace Owner or Admin.
How to request a change
Email help@alignedup.com or start a Live Chat in the product with:
Your current login email
The new email you are requesting
A brief reason, such as an acquisition or domain change, and approval from a workspace Owner or Admin if applicable
We will verify and come back to you with next steps.
Troubleshooting
The email field is disabled: your admin or an SSO policy may restrict edits. Ask your workspace admin.
You no longer have access to your old email: ask your admin to update the email on your user, or contact support with proof of ownership.
