AI Seller Agent

Written by Joice

Summary

The AI Seller Agent turns each room editing from a manual process into a simple conversation: “Add the content”, “build the plan”, “rewrite the section” — just say what you need and it's done, in the time it takes to type it.

Prerequisites

  • Plan: Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise.

  • Role: Any user with permissions to edit the room can edit using the seller agent.

  • Available on desktop.

Main capabilities

The AI seller agent is designed to help the user edit the Aligned deal room in natural language. Its capabilities include:

  • Add/Remove/Edit of all constructs types in the room: Tabs, Sections.

  • Add files from the users library or computer. Files can also be dragged into the agent’s panel.

  • Create any section upon request.

  • Create and update sections based on files.

  • Edit mutual action plan and its steps based on request/files.

  • Create customized content (business case, executive summaries, etc.).

  • Post/reply on comments from chat; AI drafted replies based on threads/room.

What will my clients see?

  • Clients never see the AI Seller Agent.

  • The ✨ buttons and the chat panel appear only in Edit Mode, to people with Edit access.

Confirmation before taking action

  • If the action includes adding to the room (file, section, tab, etc.) → no confirmation.

  • The AI Seller Agent confirms before any action that is irreversible or removes content from the room (e.g - delete a section, remove a file, etc.).

When will the agent requests confirmation to act?

  • Removing content, a section, or a tab.

  • Replacing content that already exists.

  • Making hidden content visible to clients.

  • Posting a comment or mention that notifies someone on the client's side.

  • Inviting a client or sharing the Room.

  • Rewriting, shortening, expanding, or changing tone.

When will the agent act without requiring confirmation?

  • Adding content, a section, or a tab.

  • Hiding a section from clients.

What the AI Seller Agent cannot do yet

The AI Seller Agent works on the content of the Room that is open. It does not:

  • Replace a file or section in one step.

  • Change a section from one type to another.

  • Add or edit steps in a Process Overview section.

  • Create or edit CTA buttons, or add people to an Our Team section.

  • Change Room permissions, sharing settings, or Room ownership.

  • Report engagement, views, or client activity.

  • Read or update CRM records.

  • Undo a change. Reverse anything manually in the Room.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Agent says it cannot change a section

What this means: The section is managed by an Admin, shared across Rooms, or required by the Room template. The AI Seller Agent cannot do anything the account could not do manually.

How to fix it: Ask an Admin or Owner to make the change, or work in a different section.

Agent says it cannot remove a file

What this means: Files can only be removed by the person who uploaded them, or by an Admin or Owner. The AI Seller Agent removes what it can and shows the rest as unavailable, with the reason.

How to fix it: Ask an Admin or Owner to remove the remaining files.

Agent says the request does not apply to that section

What this means: Not every change fits every section. Rewriting needs text, which a files-only section does not have.

How to fix it: Pick one of the alternatives the AI Seller Agent offers for that section.

FAQ

Q: Are my files/content used to train the Aligned AI on our data?

No. Room content, uploaded files, and AI Agent conversations are never used to train Aligned's models.

Q: Can I undo something the AI Seller Agent did?

The AI Seller Agent has no undo. Reverse a change by editing or re-adding the content in the Room, and treat anything removed as gone for good.

Q: Do Clients see the AI Seller Agent, or know that AI made a change?

Clients never see the AI Seller Agent and get no indication that a change came from AI rather than from manual editing.

Q: Does the AI Seller Agent remember the conversation after I close the panel?

The AI Seller Agent keeps the conversation while the seller stays in the Room.

Q: Can the AI Seller Agent work on more than one Room at a time?

The AI Seller Agent must be opened from each room separately and is currently limited to the scope of that room.

Q: Can the AI Seller Agent tell me who viewed my Room?

The AI Seller Agent cannot currently see engagement or visitor data.

Q: What if a colleague edits the Room while I am using the AI Seller Agent?

The AI Seller Agent checks that the target still exists before it changes anything, and shows the current Room structure if a section has moved or gone since the conversation started.

Q: My room is already shared and the client is in it. Does an edit go live the moment the agent finishes?

Yes, edits done using the seller agent are visible in the room the same way as manually edits.

Pro Tips

  • Open the AI Seller Agent from the section itself when the target is obvious. It saves describing which section to change.

  • Dismiss the tab chip before asking for something that spans several tabs.

  • Use the eye icon to check a file before adding it. "Security v1" and "security v3" look identical in a list, and there is no undo once the wrong one is in a live Room.
