How to migrate to the New banner layout
Go to Account Settings.
Under Room appearance → Default room banner, click Configure.
Click Preview to review the New banner layout.
Upload a banner image or reposition the current image.
Click Save.
What the Buyer sees
Buyers see the New banner layout in every Room they open under your account.
Buyers see the updated layout in templates you share through Rooms.
Troubleshooting & Error States
Q: I don’t see Room appearance or Default room banner.
Answer: Sign in with an Admin or Owner role.
Q: I can’t find the Configure button.
Answer: Go to Account Settings and open Room appearance → Default room banner.
Q: Who can migrate to the new layout?
Answer:Only Admins and Owners have permission to migrate the account to the new banner layout.
Q: Will the change affect all rooms and templates?
Answer:Yes. Once the migration is complete, all rooms and templates in your account will automatically adopt the new banner layout.
Q: Can I revert to the old banner layout after migration?
Answer: You can’t revert. Keep the New banner layout and adjust the image in Account Settings → Room appearance → Default room banner.
Q: Do individual Rooms still support different banner images?
Answer: Yes. Migrate the layout, then set images per Room while keeping the same banner structure.
Q: What happens if I don’t migrate?
Answer:Your account will continue using the old banner layout, but you won’t benefit from the improved design and unified appearance that the new layout provides.
