Saved Tab Templates

Available for Pro & Enterprise plans – Re‑use your favorite tabs across any Room in seconds.

Written by Gal

Tab Templates let you save, load, and manage individual tabs independently of rooms. This makes it easier to create repeatable room structures, reduce manual work, and keep your team aligned around a consistent setup — without having to rebuild tabs from scratch every time.

Tab Templates are especially useful when you want to standardize workflows across multiple rooms while maintaining flexibility in how content is applied.

Plans:

Available to Pro and Enterprise plans only.

What are Tab Templates?

Tab Templates are saved versions of room tabs that can be reused across rooms. They are separate from full-room templates and provide a modular way to apply specific content structures. This improves consistency, speeds up room creation, and supports scalable team collaboration.

You can:

  • Save any standard tab (Except Files tab, Plan tab, and Internal tab).

  • Load one or more templates into a room.

  • Create tab templates from scratch.

  • Duplicate existing templates.

  • Edit or delete templates.

  • Add templates to multiple rooms in bulk.

Key behaviors

  • Templates save only structure — not assignees, due dates, or user-specific data.

  • Templates are visible to all users in the account.

  • Only the template owner or Admins and up can edit or delete saved tab templates.

  • Changes to a template do not affect rooms where it’s already been used.

How to use Tab Templates
