Our Team Section

Written by Joice

The Team section shows all stakeholders involved in the deal — on your side and, if enabled, on the client’s side — along with their contact details.

It gives you a clear view of who is participating in the evaluation and helps you manage multi-threaded deals.

Only people who are explicitly added to the Team section appear there.

Entering the room alone does not automatically add someone to the list.

What You Can Do in the Team Section

As a seller, you can:

  • Add members to your team

  • Add client-side stakeholders

  • Allow or prevent clients from adding teammates

  • Edit names and job titles (where permitted)

  • Reorder members on both sides

  • Resend invitations

  • Remove members from the section.

Adding Your Internal Team

You can add colleagues from your organization to the Team section.

If the person:

  • Does not yet have room access → they receive the standard room invite email and are granted access.

  • Already has room access → they are added to the Team section without receiving another email.

Adding someone to your team and granting room access happen as part of the same action.

Adding Client-Side Stakeholders

You can add client-side stakeholders yourself.

When you add someone:

  • If they don’t have access, they receive an invite email.

  • If they already have access, no new email is sent.

  • They appear in the Team section either way.

Invited client-side members appear in the Team section even if they haven’t entered the room yet.

Letting Clients Add Their Own Team

By default, clients are allowed to add members on their side. You can lock the Team section at any time to make it read-only for clients.

When clients add someone:

  • They must provide their email address to complete the action.

  • If the added person doesn’t yet have access, they receive an invite email.

  • The new member appears in the Team section.

  • You receive a notification that new client-side members were invited.

Tracking Stakeholder Engagement

When an invited user enters the room:

  • Their entry is reflected in Room Analytics.

  • A timeline event is recorded.

  • Their activity becomes trackable like any other participant.

Inviting someone alone does not create a timeline event — entering the room does.

Editing Details

For client-side members shown in the Team section:

  • Sellers can edit name and job title.

  • Email editing follows existing platform rules.

Some users (for example, enriched or CRM-synced contacts) may not be editable due to system restrictions.

Clients cannot edit other client members’ details.

Resending Invites

If someone was invited but hasn’t entered the room:

  • You can resend the invitation.

  • The resend email is sent from you.

  • The original “Invited by” label in the Team section does not change.

Removing Someone from Team Section

Removing someone from the Team section:

  • Removes them from the visible stakeholder list.

  • Does not remove their room access.
