How do I assign a task to a customer? Do they need to join Aligned first?

  1. You can assign a task to a customer/prospect (who you have not yet shared your room with) by clicking on the assign button (circled below) and typing in the person's email address.

    This customer/prospect will then be notified of the task by email and will be directed to the room.

  2. The email address will be saved and you will appear in the drop down menu when assigning future tasks.

    As best practice, we recommend that you first click on the share button, copy the invite link and add them to the room officially first. You can do it over a call, email, or chat. Just makes it more official and welcoming when you first introduce the concept to them that way. Then, tagging them on the task as a next step will be more welcoming!
