The Claude Integration connects an Aligned account to Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing sellers to query their own deal rooms - and admins to query any room in the account - directly from a Claude conversation. Once connected, asking Claude about a deal returns grounded answers pulled live from the Aligned room - including stakeholder engagement, MAP / Next Steps, content interactions, and last activity.
Prerequisites
Plan: Enterprise plan only.
Role: Any user in Aligned.
Technical: An active Claude account. Whether you can add Aligned yourself depends on your Claude workspace: on unmanaged workspaces you can add it directly, while on managed workspaces a Claude workspace admin must authorize Aligned first.

The Claude Integration has two setup paths depending on whether your Claude workspace requires admin approval for custom connectors:
If your workspace does not require admin approval → You can add Aligned yourself. Follow the steps under “User setup” below.
If your workspace requires admin approval → A Claude workspace admin must authorize Aligned before you can connect. Follow the steps under “Admin setup” below.

On workspaces that require admin approval, individual members cannot add custom connectors. The Claude workspace admin (Owner or Primary Owner) must authorize Aligned first.
If this step doesn't apply to you, you can skip it and move on to the User setup section below.
Seller steps:
Copy the Connector URL to copy the Aligned MCP server URL.
Share the URL and admin instructions with your Claude workspace admin.
Wait for your admin to authorize Aligned in the Claude workspace settings.
Once authorized, open Claude and navigate to Customize → Connectors
On the Aligned-hosted OAuth page, sign in to Aligned (if not already signed in) and click Approve.
Start a new chat in Claude and make sure Aligned is enabled before asking about a deal.
What your Claude workspace admin needs to do:
In Claude, navigate to Organization Settings → Connectors.
Click Add, hover over Custom, and select Web.
Paste the Aligned name and Aligned MCP URL.
(Optional) Click Advanced settings to enter an OAuth Client ID and Secret → This step is not required for Aligned because Aligned uses Dynamic Client Registration.
Click Add to authorize Aligned for the workspace

In Claude → Navigate to Connectors → Add custom connector.
Paste the name + URL into the connector setup dialog and click Add.
On the Aligned-hosted OAuth page, sign in to Aligned (if not already signed in) and click Approve.
How to disconnect
Disconnect happens entirely on the Claude side - there is no Disconnect button inside Aligned.
Open Claude and navigate to Customize → Connectors.
Locate Aligned in the connectors list.
Click Disconnect directly.
Confirm the removal.
After disconnecting, Aligned no longer receives queries from Claude. The Claude card in Aligned eventually stays the default Enable state.
Where the Claude Integration works
The Aligned Claude Integration works in every Claude surface that supports remote MCP servers - Claude.ai (web), Claude Desktop, Claude Mobile, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. To use Aligned in any other surface, copy the Connector URL from the Setup modal and paste it into that app's connector setup. The same URL also works with other remote-MCP-compatible AI assistants.
What can you do with Aligned in Claude?
Once connected, ask Claude about any active deal and get grounded answers pulled live from your Aligned room. Common workflows include:

Important to know:
All access is bounded by you — as a seller, Claude only sees deals you own in Aligned. As an admin, Claude can access any room in the account, one room at a time. Cross-room comparison and account-level summaries are planned for a future release.
Claude cannot write to Aligned in this release — it can't create rooms, edit MAPs, post comments, or modify any data. Write capabilities are planned for a future release.
Limitations
Per-room queries only: Each query returns data from a single room, including for admins.
No admin visibility: Aligned Admins and Owners cannot see which sellers have connected the Claude Integration or what they query in V1.
