There’s no one-click “bulk replace” for files that were added directly to Rooms. The fastest, reliable way to update a file everywhere is to manage it from the Content Library and insert that Library item into your Rooms. Then, when you replace the file in the Library, the change reflects everywhere it’s used.
Best practice (recommended): Manage the file via the Content Library
Step 1 — Add the file to the Library (once)
Go to Library → Upload and add your file.
Give it a clear title (e.g., “Company Overview – MASTER”) so teammates pick the right one.
Step 2 — Insert the Library item into Rooms
Open a Room → Add section (e.g., Links & Examples).
Click Add content → From Library → select the file you uploaded.
Repeat for other Rooms (one-time setup).
Step 3 — Replace the file globally
Go to Library → open the file’s options → menu (•••) → Edit (or upload new version).
Click Yes to save.
All Rooms that use this Library item will now show the new version.
Tip: If this file belongs in a recurring block (e.g., “Resources”), place it inside a Saved or Synced section so the structure is consistent across Rooms.
If the file was added directly to Rooms (not from Library)
You’ll need to update Rooms one by one this time—then switch to the Library workflow so future updates are one-and-done.
Open a Room that has the old file.
In that section, Remove the old file.
Click Add content → From Library → select the Library-managed version (create it first if needed).
Repeat for other Rooms.
Once every Room uses the same Library item, future replacements happen centrally from the Library (see Best practice above).
Advanced: Use a Synced Section (for standardized sections)
If your file is part of a standard block (e.g., Pricing Kit, Implementation Pack):
Create a Synced Section that includes the Library-managed file.
Add that synced section to your Rooms (one-time).
To update the file later, just replace the file in the Library. The synced section will display the updated Library item everywhere it’s used.
