How to embed websites in Rooms

You can display live webpages inside a Room so viewers don’t have to leave to see schedules, dashboards, help docs, and more.

Add a website to a Room

  1. Open your Room and click Add section (e.g., Large Section).

  2. Select Embed link.

  3. Paste the webpage URL and Save.

  4. Update the title and add a short description (Optional) so viewers know what they’re looking at.

Tip: If you plan to reuse the same link across multiple Rooms (e.g., a booking page), first save it in the Content Library, then insert it From Library into each Room.

Make it easy to view

  • Prefer public or “anyone with the link can view” URLs for smooth access.

  • Use HTTPS links (most embeds require it).

Recommended use cases

  • Scheduling/booking: Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, etc. (Native integration)

  • Docs & knowledge: Google Docs/Slides, Notion public pages, help articles.

  • Media: YouTube, Loom, Vimeo.

  • Dashboards: Public or share-link dashboards that permit iframe embedding.

Best practices

  • Give embeds clear titles (e.g., “Book a call with Alex”).

  • Place key embeds near the top of your Room so they’re easy to find.

  • For content you’ll update often, store the link in the Content Library and insert from there—updates carry through wherever it’s used.

Troubleshooting

  • Page shows “refused to connect” / blank: The site likely doesn’t allow embedding. Share it as a normal link instead (opens in a new tab) in the Links and Examples sections
