By default, invites to your Aligned Rooms are sent from a standard Aligned email address. However, you have the option to use your own email address as the sender, making your invites feel more personal and professional to your customers.
This option is available if you’ve enabled the Google Calendar, Email & Contacts integration in your account settings.
Why use your own email?
Adds a personal touch to customer communication.
Eliminate hidden stakeholders, no more "anonymous" visitor
Helps ensure recipients recognize and trust the sender.
Improves deliverability by reducing the chance that invites land in spam folders.
How to Set Up
Enable the Integration
1.1. Navigate to My Account → Settings → Integrations.

1.2. Enable the Google Calendar, Email & Contacts integration.
1.3. Sign in with your Google account to complete the setup.
Send an Invite with Your Own Email
2.1. Open the Aligned Room you want to share.
2.2. Click the Share button (top right).
2.3. Under Share via Email — click the Preview & Send button.
A new screen (side drawer) will open.You’ll now see the option to send the invite using your connected email address instead of the default Aligned email.
Confirm the Sender Address
Before sending, double-check the sender field to ensure your personal email is selected.
Important Notes
If the integration isn’t connected, invites will continue to be sent from the default Aligned email address.
Customers will see your name and email in the “From” field, making the invite appear directly from you.
This setting applies to Room invites sent by email; it does not affect shared links or other notifications.
