Use Room sharing permissions to control who enters each Room and how they access it. When you add sensitive information, raise the Room to Password protection - many teams use this setting when they work with banks and large companies.

How to raise a Room’s sharing permission to Password protection
Open the Room.
Click Share.
Under Room Access permissions, select Password protected.
Optional: Replace the Room password.
Share the Room link and send the password through your preferred channel.
What the Buyer sees
The buyer opens the Room link.
Aligned prompts the buyer to enter the Room password.
The buyer enters the password to access the Room.
How to choose when to raise permissions
Use your default sharing permission for early-stage, low-sensitivity content.
Switch to Password protection when you add sensitive information or when the customer requires tighter access controls (for example, banks and large companies).
Troubleshooting & Error States
Q: “Which permission should I use for sensitive onboarding, banking, or enterprise procurement?”
Answer: Select Password protection in Share → Room Access Permissions.
Q: “I don’t see Password protection.”
Answer: Open the Room and click Share, then look under Room Access permissions -> Password protected..
