Remove access to a Room by switching the Room to Only Permitted Users Can View and keeping only the people or companies that should still enter. Use this when the Room was shared earlier in the deal, but you now need tighter control over who can open it. Add individuals by email address and add companies by domain. Update the permitted list any time the buying group changes.

Troubleshooting & Error States
Q: I removed someone, but they can still enter the Room.
Answer: Make sure the Room is set to Only Permitted Users Can View. Other permission levels won’t restrict access to a specific allowlist.
Q: I want to remove one person but keep the rest of the customer team.
Answer: Use Only Permitted Users Can View and keep only the approved email addresses or company domains in the permitted list.
Q: Should I add a company or an individual user?
Answer: Add an email address when you want to allow one specific person. Add a domain when you want to allow everyone from that company.
Q: I set a password, but I still want to block one specific person.
Answer: Use Only Permitted Users Can View. Password Protection adds a gate, but it does not create a person-by-person allowlist.
Pro-Tips
Move the Room to Only Permitted Users Can View before you share pricing, legal, security, or procurement content.
Review the permitted list before every major update so only the current buying team keeps access.
