Managing and updating shared content across multiple rooms can be time-consuming and repetitive. Sync Sections simplifies this process by allowing you to create and manage reusable sections that stay up to date everywhere they’re used.

With Sync Sections, any updates you make to a saved section will automatically apply to all linked rooms—no need to manually update each one. This feature helps you save time, maintain consistency, and improve collaboration across your sales process.

Sections must be saved in order to be synced!

A. Minimum Requirements

  • Available for Free and Paid plans, with varying permissions.

  • Currently supports List and Carousel sections only.

B. How Sync Sections Work

1. Adding Saved Sections to Rooms

You can add List and Carousel sections from your Saved Sections drawer to any room.

🔹 Automatic Updates: Changes made to a synced section update across all linked rooms.

🔹 Manual Control: You can choose whether to sync a section or keep it independent.

🔹 Sync Icon: Synced sections will display a sync icon for easy identification:

2. Editing Saved Sections in Rooms

You have full flexibility when making edits to sections inside a room.

Edit without syncing: Changes made inside a room will not affect the original saved section unless manually updated.

✅ Sync for consistency: Turn on Sync to ensure updates in the Saved Sections drawer apply to all linked rooms.

Save new versions: If you modify a synced section but want to keep both versions, you can save a new copy.

3. Syncing Sections in Rooms

Syncing ensures that any updates you make in the Saved Sections drawer are instantly applied to all linked rooms.

3.1 Two ways to Sync a Section:

  • From the Editor Modal.

  • From the ’Sync Section’ icon.

Steps to Sync from the Editor Modal:

  1. Open the Saved Sections drawer.

  2. Click on a section and click Edit to open the editor modal.

  3. Toggle on Sync Section.

  4. Click Save to apply changes automatically to all future instances of that section.

Steps to Sync from the ‘Sync Section’ Icon:

  1. Click on the ’Sync Section’ icon inside the Section.

  2. Choose the name of the Sync section.

  3. Click Save & Sync.

📌 Example Use Case: Imagine you have a pricing section used across multiple deal rooms. Instead of updating each room separately whenever your pricing changes, you can update it once in the Saved Sections drawer, and it will sync across all linked rooms.

4. Editing Synced Sections from the Saved Sections drawer

Synced sections can be edited from the Saved Sections drawer.

🔹 Use the new Editor Modal to make updates.

🔹 Changes apply to all linked rooms when saved.

🔹 Admins can edit team sections, while individual users can manage their own sections.

5. Unsync Sections

Syncing keeps your content consistent across rooms, but sometimes you need more flexibility. Unsync a section allows you to make unique edits in specific rooms without affecting other instances.

You can choose between two types of unsync:

🔹 Unsync from All Rooms

  • Removes the connection between the section and the Saved Sections drawer.

  • The section remains in each room as a static version but will no longer receive updates.

🔹 Unsync from a specific Room

  • Removes the section's sync only in that room while keeping it synced in others.

  • Useful when you need to make room-specific changes without affecting the rest.

📌 Example Use Case: You're using a synced pricing section across multiple deal rooms, but one customer needs a custom offer. Instead of changing your pricing for everyone, simply unsync the section in that room, edit it as needed, and keep the rest of your rooms updated with the standard version.

7. Analytics for Synced Sections

Track the performance of synced sections to measure engagement:

  • Synced Badge: Indicates synced sections in rooms.

  • Analytics View: Provides insights into usage, such as buyer interactions and time spent.
