This process ensures the successful creation and setup of a new SAML connection for Aligned. If you encounter any issues or require further assistance, please reach out to Aligned support for help.

  1. Sign into the Entra (Azure AD) admin dashboard at entra.microsoft.com.

  2. Navigate to ApplicationsEnterprise applications.

  3. Click on New Application.

  4. Choose Create your own application.

  5. Provide a name for the app and select Integrate any other application you don’t find in the gallery (Non-gallery), then click Create.

  6. Proceed to ManageProperties.

  7. Upload the Aligned logo as needed.

  8. Go to ManageUsers and groups to assign relevant users access to this application.

  9. Access ManageSingle sign-on and select SAML.

  10. Edit Step 1:

    • Identifier: urn:auth0:alignedup:REPLACE_ME

    • Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL): https://auth.teamaligned.com/login/callback

  11. Edit Step 2:

    • Setup required claims for the integration:

      • user.mailemail

      • user.surnamefamily_name

      • user.givennamegiven_name

  12. Send the following details back to Aligned support:

    • Download Certificate Base64

    • Login and Logout URLs
